Film Analysis

Transformers


Ordinary World: Sam is just a regular teenage boy in high school. Trying to get good grades so he can buy a car. He buys a crappy car, his first car.
Call to Adventure: Sam thinks that someone stole his car, so he follows it and he sees his car actually stand up.
Refusal to Call: Michaela, Sam's friend, doesn't want to get in the car(transformer).
Meeting the Mentor: Sam says to Michaela " In fifty years don't you want to say you had the guts to get in the car?" Sam convinces her to come along.
Crossing the Threshold: The Autobots tell Sam and Michaela there problem and they decide to help them get the glasses that will tell them where the Cube is.
Test, Allies, Enemies: Bumblebee When the Autobots ask Sam for his help to find the glasses and the cube. The Police officer, that is actually a decepticon.  The Sector seven guys that break into Sam's house. The army men. 
Approach to the Inmost Cave: The plan is to find the glasses, and get to the cube before the Decepticons do. Then get the cube in a safe place.
The Ordeal: Sam is willing to sacrifice his life to protect the cube.
Reward: Sam shoves the cube into Megatrons central region and defeats him.
The Road Back: Sam has now helped the Autobots and has to return home, back to his normal life. But with a great knowledge.
The Resurrection: Sam has learned that there are bigger things in life then just grades and girls. He has a better understanding of what is out there.
